چکیده
Additive manufactured Ti6Al4V alloy has excellent comprehensive properties and broad application prospects in the aerospace, biomedicine, other fields. However, fabricated components are too rough to use directly. So, a corresponding postprocess is needed urgently. The conventional finishing process cannot meet requirements of green efficient processing because its time consumption, environmental pollution, low productivity. Laser polishing, as highly noncontact post-treatment technology, attracted more attention polishing additive alloy. research laser recent years expatiated includes mechanisms, surface roughness morphology, microstructure, mechanical properties, finite element simulation analysis during polishing. Furthermore, existing challenges laser-polished summarized, future development directions proposed.

In vitro and in vivo study of additive manufactured porous Ti6Al4V scaffolds for repairing bone defects
Metallic implants with a low effective modulus can provide early load-bearing and reduce stress shielding, which is favorable for increasing in vivo life-span. In this research, porous Ti6Al4V scaffolds with three pore sizes (300~400, 400~500, and 500~700 μm) were manufactured by Electron Beam Melting, with an elastic modulus range of 3.7 to 1.7 GPa. Cytocompatibility in vitro and osseointegrat...
متن کاملSurface Roughness and Morphology Customization of Additive Manufactured Open Porous Ti6Al4V Structures
Additive manufacturing (AM) is a production method that enables the building of porous structures with a controlled geometry. However, there is a limited control over the final surface of the product. Hence, complementary surface engineering strategies are needed. In this work, design of experiments (DoE) was used to customize post AM surface treatment for 3D selective laser melted Ti6Al4V open...
متن کاملLaser beam welding of titanium additive manufactured parts
In this paper the joinability of titanium Additive Manufactured (AM) parts is explored. Keyhole welding, using a pulsed laser beam, of conventionally produced parts is compared to AM parts. Metal AM parts are notorious for having remaining porosities and other non-isotropic properties due to the layered manufacturing process. This study shows that due to these deficiencies more energy per unit ...
متن کاملAdditive manufactured Ti6Al4V scaffolds with the RF- magnetron sputter deposited hydroxyapatite coating
Present paper reports on the results of surface modification of the additively manufactured porous Ti6Al4V scaffolds. Radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering was used to modify the surface of the alloy via deposition of the biocompatible hydroxyapatite (HA) coating. The surface morphology, chemical and phase composition of the HA-coated alloy were studied. It was revealed that RF magnetron sp...
